Canucks Lose Demko for Game 6 Against Oilers
Vancouver Canucks will be without Thatcher Demko for Game 6 against the Edmonton Oilers in the second round of the NHL Playoffs.

The Vancouver Canucks will be without Thatcher Demko for Game 6 of their second-round playoff series against the Edmonton Oilers on Thursday night.
Demko, who has been Vancouver's starting goaltender throughout the playoffs, suffered a lower-body injury in Game 5 and did not return. Jaroslav Halak started in net for the Canucks in Game 5 and is expected to make his second straight start in Game 6.
The Oilers, meanwhile, will be looking to even the series at 3-3. They won Game 5 by a score of 5-3, with Connor McDavid scoring twice and Leon Draisaitl adding a goal and an assist.
