Detroit Tigers catcher Jake Rogers will get Sunday off to catch up on rest, manager A.J. Hinch said before the game against the Chicago White Sox.

Rogers has been in a bit of a slump lately, hitting just .182 with one home run and six RBIs in his last 15 games. He also has 10 strikeouts in that span.

Hinch said he hopes the day off will give Rogers a chance to clear his head and get back on track.
